About Maria

Maria DeStefano Maroney

is an Integrative Nutrition Professional 

with an MS in Clinical Nutrition

from Maryland University of Integrative Health.

 

She is on a mission to help people learn how to take better

care of themselves so they can enjoy life longer.

She guides others by teaching about the importance

of eating nutrient-dense food, getting up and moving every day

and a better mindset. And she sometimes suggests

a supplement or two for a little extra help.

 

Most people's motivation comes from wanting to lose weight, so in working with clients, the focus is usually:

Giving the body the nutrients it needs to keep you healthy

Understanding the role that stress plays. 

Maintaining a healthy blood sugar balance.

The importance of exercise, and finding the type you love.
